209-748-4277 craigslist scam number

Thursday, April 15th, 2010

If someone writes back to your craigslist post asking you to call their (209) 748-4277 number, don’t do it. Its a scam. I received an email from a craigslist post and got a pretty standard email back from jbservice01@gmail.com asking if the item was still for sale and to call him. So I called back 2097484277 and no one answered. I then emailed back saying that I left him a voicemail. Within 5 minutes I get back a standard nigerian scam email. I emailed him back and told him to go F* himself. I bet my number is going to wind up on yet another sales list. damn it.

(781) 352-1861 is selling leads

Friday, March 5th, 2010

What the hell am I going to do with sales leads?! You would think that Gloria would use some leads of her own when cold calling cell phones you dumb bi*ch.
Just a minute ago (while I was trying to enjoy my free pizza) my cell phone rings with the number 781-352-1861 so I answered.  A voice recordings says something about sales leads for sale. She said her name is Gloria. If you wait long enough, it gave me a prompt to opt out of future calls (which I did of course) and also her other number to reach her if you want the sales leads. Will someone call her! 781-325-1861 Oh ya!!

Weird +1 (774) 373-590 and +1 146652018 numbers

Friday, February 26th, 2010

Over the last two days, I received calls from these weird numbers. They show up on my iphone as “+1 146652018″ and “+1 (774) 373-590″.

I have a few friends overseas, so I thought at first it might be someone I know, but if it wasn’t, I’d be pissed that I answered.

the 146652018 number didn’t leave a message, so I’m sure it was a telemarketer. I didn’t want to call them back because the “+1″ usually means its overseas and not just long distance.

The 1-774-373-590 number just called a minute ago. Its weird because its missing a last number and my phone put the plus sign (+) in front of it, but displayed it was from MA. Weird.

I answered. They asked for Consul someone (weird name)..I said nope, wrong number. Then this Indian guy says that he’s conducting a survey for people that own a house and who are looking to refinance their mortgage. Um no.

So like I said, 1774373590 and 146652018 called…but the strange thing is how the numbers showed up on the screen. hmmm…

You don’t need to register to comment or even use a real email address. Feel free to post whatever you’d like. Thanks. Oh and I recommend getting skype to call anyone.

Who the heck is at 561-686-2264

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

(561)-686-2264 called me just a minute ago, but I hesitated and didn’t pick it up. I waited for a voicemail, but nothing, so I called them back.
A recording says that the number has been disconnected, but that is obviously B.S. It’s a West Palm Beach Florida area code, I know that…but what is with these people calling me from sketchy numbers?
I wasn’t going to ask my girlfriend if she got a call too, but she read my website and guess what? Yep, those dick bags called her too!!
How is this possible?! At&t/cingular has to be selling our phone numbers. Read my other posts about random numbers, this is the third time that we both get the same calls in the same day. We are NOT on the same plan or anything, yet we both bought our iphones on the same day….hmmmm mysterious..
Anyway, she says it was something about insurance, but then hung up right away.
Did you answer? Tell us about it here. You don’t need to register or even use a real email address to comment.

Whore at 561-761-2412

Friday, January 29th, 2010

Why would I want to buy anything from a random number?
Today’s loser is the person at (561) 761-2412. I answered and it was a recording for I think car insurance…although I was in line for a ride at the south florida fair and couldn’t hear.
Did you answer 561-761-2412 too? What did they say? You don’t need to register or even use a real email address to comment.
Thanks!

At&t Cingular selling our cell phone numbers?

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

I can’t say this for sure, but I have a feeling that att / cingular is selling our mobile numbers.

My girlfriend and I got our cell phones on the same day and like 3 days later, on the same day, we each got a telemarketing sales call from the same number!

Just today, she asked me if 561-421-5522 called me and I said no. Then two hours later, my phone rang from that number!! It was a sales call for insurance.

Those calls really piss me off so I filed a complaint on the FTC website at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ in case you were wondering, it is illegal for a company to call your cell phone using an automated dialer.

Did you answer a call from (561) 421-5522?  You don’t need to register or even use a real email address to comment. Thanks!
