My mom is quite a shopper. She has an eye for nice things, there is no doubt about it.

She bought me a $700 briefcase for graduation that has only been let out of its silk box about 3 times.

I have Gucci and Hermes ties that are too ugly to wear.

And now I have a new pair of bright red Tod’s Gommino (gommini?) drivers shoes. I’ve never heard of these before she took them out of the bag.

I mean, they’re cool for what they are, but have you ever seen Tyler wearing loafers? No you haven’t. What’s a loafer anyway? These things are more like slippers.

If they were 20 bucks, maybe i’d wear em around the house or to walk the dog or something, but these things are $400!! These are probably the most expensive things I will ever put on my feet…it just makes me uncomfortable.
